Ran my new smoker for the first time this weekend. Did a whole chicken for wraps and on my lunch salad during the week. Made a few meatloafs for the inlaws and some ABTs. Everything turned out pretty good - And some Dang! butterscotch rootbeer to wash it down
First time using this smoker...but it CAN'T be the first time you've done any smoking! It really looks fantastic. It gives me one more level to strive for.
Oh yeah, everything looks great. Great first smoke. And you ought to be ashamed of yourself. Now I have to go out and try to find some of that rootbeer - Dang!

I also have an electric smoker that I have been using the last few years. I wanted something easy to learn on before I got a wsm. I figured an electric one would be easy to maintain temps.
Actually the wsm was a total suprise gift from my sis-in-law. She liked the brisket and abts I make on the masterbuilt electric smoker so much, and she always hears me talk about wanting a wsm (and how much better the foods would be) - so she picked up a wsm from cabelas for me. I'm just breaking it in to 'get a feel for it' before I attempt a long brisket smoke.
2 is All I had left in the fridge. It was a test of sorts.... I had space left on the rack, and they were all I could find in the fridge that might be good smoked. They were real cheap hotdogs, and they picked a little too much smoke flavor.
