First smoke on wsm

After a long winter and 3 sub par smokes i returned my other was junk (electric) smoke; down graded in price to the wsm. So happy I did. The first smoke did produce higher temps (expected), but I managed and averaged around 240. The smoke ring was really good too.I used bisquettes because I was able to get a bunch 1/2 off. What's your preference? Anyways this is the result and photo of my long winter(had snow two weeks ago); a butt will be cooked Sunday!

I use briquettes in my WSMs. I stock up on KBB when it's on sale in the HD.

Bird looks great. Having lived in Los Angeles all my life I can't understand what it takes to live in an area with snow. More power to you. Enjoy the great group here.

Don't provoke me with these piles of snow. I do not want see the shovel to December;). But bird looks great Mike!
