Here are some pics of my first successful BBQ Spare and BBs. Thanks to all of you in this great site, I was able to make these perfect ribs. I followed BRITU. My family loved them. One thing I noticed is that the racks in the outermost part cooked faster. Probably because they were outside the circumference of the water bowl and got greater heat. I had them in there for 6 hours at 225%. The charcoal recommendation was perfect. Thanks again to all of you!!
The next task is a brisket for a party next month. I will seek for advise soon! Happy New Year to all.

How did I do?

Holy smokes. Is anyone still on dialup?

Steve, I just learned how to post pics. I was only able to post the link. I do not know how to post the actual pics on the thred. I'd apprecite any help! Thanks.

Well, you have to save the pictures somewhere so that you can post an internet link to them. That way this site doesn't have to pay for the disk space to hold your photos. A lot of folks use some of the generic photo hosting sites on the internet. Others can provide info on how to do that.

My internet service provider is Earthlink, and I get a certain amount of "web site" space for each of my email addresses. I use one of them to put pictures on so that I can reference their address.

So, for example, my host web site is http://home.earthlink.net/~scutchen/ If you click on that link, you'll see a list of the photos I have up. I then post the link of the picture itself in my forum post, using the picture icon, the one second from the right.

So, if I post the address http://home.earthlink.net/~scutchen/West Texas Christmas.jpg using the picture icon, I get this:

West%20Texas%20Christmas.jpg

If I just post the link using the URL icon instead of the picture icon, I provide just a link (like the one before the picture). And if I do this, I can also give the link a name different than the link text itself. For example:
West Texas Christmas

Posting a link rather than the picture helps folks on dialup since the photos might take a long time to download. Also, it is best not to post a really large photo. For example, West Texas Christmas is only 480x376 pixels. This helps them to load quickly.
