First pizza, need some help

John I think it looks super...pizza is tricky since you have so much going on....like Jim say...try a ring of coal at around the entire perimiter(I Also use the WSM in the center ...add a full chimney of hot coals, make sure your ash from your prior cook is gone, lots of air flow and heat that stone.)

You should have no problems getting to 600 at least!

Keep playing...that's the fun part!

Looks good to me! I would put the stone in early and get that thing smoking hot before I put my crust on it. Then use shredded cheese and put it on first and sauce on after, last, like a Chicago deep dish. Maybe lay your fire bricks down so the stone is closer to coals for more heat. I might experiment with lump also, burns hotter! Nothing wrong with that pizza though!

The only way to figure out the pizza thing is to keep making them...lots of them.....Nice first attempt.....its a tough cook!
