So I got the 22.5 smokey mountain today and set it up and ran to the store and bought some ribs!
Picture is nothing special...but for first time using a smoker they turned out amazing!! They taste was great :)
going to be experimenting all weekend long!!

Great first cook. Don't worry you'll screw up sooner or later but there will be lots of people to help you when you do. Welcome to the forum.
 
Nice looking ribs Ed. Like Tony asked, give us some details....looks like you've set the bar pretty high with those ribs, what's next on the menu?
 
Thanks for all the nice comments. I was shocked at just how seamless the process was! Used 3 chunks of cherry and 1 of hickory. Followed the basic rib method from this page. Today I think I will throw some chicken on and then sunday a butt. I really want to do a brisket, but saving that for the 4th!
