First cook on 1988 Genesis Jr. Restoration (Ribeye)

@HankBates You were right about these Jr. Grills. Surpassed my expectations. I have no doubt that I will be happy to use this grill for the rest of my life. I'm going to try to pick up a couple more if I can.

Whaaaaa. I thought it should be on a museum! You took the wrapper off! Took it out of the box!
Thank you for the compliment Tony!

I did this project with the intention of building the best bullet proof long lasting 2 Burner grill to use for the rest of my life. This will be paired with my best 3 burner Genesis 1000. I build all of them with the intention to use them. That's why I use what I believe to be the highest quality SS grates and flavorizer bars available. I want my grills to last past my lifetime with little to no maintenance besides occasional cleaning.
I have several that I haven't got myself to use yet but I plan to. We'll see how that goes lol. This one was purpose built to put to work now. The others were purpose built for my retirement so time will tell. I definitely have way more grills than I will ever need and not sure what I'm going to do with all of them. I only need a 1000 and a Jr.

Now that I've used it and know I love it I'll probably convert it to NG and run it along side my 3 burner which is already NG.

This is my Setup in Washington with my Genesis ii LX 2 burner and 3 burner.
I want something similar in Arizona but older version with Genesis 1000 and Jr.

I love using these Genesis ii LX grills but the reality is that these will not stand the test of time. The Genesis 1000 and Jr. will and they are excellent to use also.
