You'll get used to it once you start seeing some real snow. I remember the first couple of years here and getting used to cooking in almost blizzard conditions. Kind of exciting for someone used to sunny California. Once you learn to keep a bottle of Rye handy, it ain't so bad :)
 
It didn’t make as much as expected or maybe I ate more than I thought, not a lot of leftovers and I love leftovers
