Hey guys!
First, let me thank you for running this website and forum. I found it by accident while looking for pulled pork recipes. I used one of the recipes from the forum, but while looking around the site, I found that Weber makes a smoker. I have cooked on Weber kettle grills for almost 30 years and had never heard of a Weber Smokey Mountain. I guess I live a sheltered life. I currently have two Weber kettles and a Pitts & Spits smoker, but wanted something for my weekend house in Galveston. I usually buy the Brinkman smokers for cooking down there, but, to put it modestly, they don't work very well. So, long story short, I ordered the 18" model this morning for my thanksgiving turkey and I am fired up to get cooking on this thing.
Thank you again for all the information ya'll provide. I can't wait to report back.
Happy Turkey-day Smokin'
