Finally got grommets on my wsm!

I finally found what I needed to install a grommet in my wsm. Thanks to Mr. Bob Mann and his thread here : http://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?19285-Grommet-Mod-For-New-ET-732

Drilled right in the middle of the two rack brackets, and about 1-2" down from the upper grate.

Did something similar to the performer. Make sure to leave yourself enough room to insert your thermometer.

If you will put a short one in, the curved temp probe will go all the way through past the bend.

The shortest one in the kit I got was 1/2" a little too short. The next one up was 1" about 3/4" like Bob used would be perfect. Haven't tried putting the probes through yet.

that stuff cuts pretty easily with a hacksaw. just put the lock nut on first , more or less where you want to cut and use the nut as a guide. Smooth the end with a small file or some sandpaper and you're in business.
