Enamel Lid Clean

Was using my Performer at a street party and a plastic bag flew onto the lid & has now hardened.
Does anyone know the best way to get this off the enamel please?

Heat the lid till the plastic just gets soft. It should peel off at that point. will probably need some more cleaning once the plastic is off.

That sounds like a pretty good plan, probably need a scraper of some kind to help with the removal.

Good ideas Above. Also could use a trusty old simple razor blade and fine steel wool.

Set it out in the sun. It’ll get warm enough and mostly peel right off.

After that, when it’s cool and there’s maybe some residual left over, 3M adhesive remover will take the rest.

Krud Kutter works great. After or before using a razor blade.

Gently heated up the lid. Then used a plastic razor scraper
