Electric Q Cheap!

Yah, really good price if you want/need one. But they are tough to rehab and resell unless you live in a larger city with lots of apartments and condos that restrict open flame grills.

This. I listed one for months and finally gave it away to college kids who couldn't have a real grill.

I've been looking for (a reasonably-priced) Electric Q for several months for an elderly neighbor. Condo association started enforcing Mass fire regulations regarding grills on decks/ near buildings.

The demand is low (at least here in the Torontp area). I picked up a Q2400 with cart for $20 CAD - it was in good condition. It sat on FBM for weeks with the price dropping $20 every couple of weeks - when it hit $25 - I offered the guy $20 and scooped it up.

Can't hardly sell an electric Q around here and certainly not outside a larger metro area. Now with the new line of electric Weber grills coming out, those old Q series electric grills are going to be essentially worthless.

I believe the grates on the electric Q interchange with the CharQ, making them a handy replacement.

They likely do. But, you can use regular Q grates as well on the CharQ. However, I would prefer the more open grates from the electric Q.
