Hotter than heck today here near the Lou, but I bit the bullet, er Performer

First: Dizzy Pigs breaded wing recipe using chicken drums n' thighs:

Also, using an earlier posted link by Jim Lampe, egg carton ABT's.
Stuffed these with goat cheese, a Mex cheese mix, rub, and real bacon bits, then wrapped with my jowl bacon:

Added some not too meaty beef ribs that had only a heavy dose of Montreal Steak Seasoning, the cherry wood became a flame!:

Wow. I had never seen that recipe before. Does the skin turn out pretty good? Seems like it would.

To give credit where credit is due, I first read about it from JimK.
It's pretty hard to tell the crisp crust from the crisp skin.
I used my own rub, and think that if you would like some heat, a few dashes of hot sauce in the egg/milk wash might do the trick.
 
Looks out-of-this-world good. I've never tried this recipe. I think I will next time I do chicken. Awesome! Thanks for the inspiration.
