I meant dry as in no sauce, that doesn't read well for a bbq site does it LOL: Been a while since I posted a cook so here's a picture of my final product from Easter. Who says you need to foil to get off the bone ribs? These babies went for 7 hours at 240ish, were moist and pulled cleanly off the bone. Dredged in water/vinegar and dusted with rub. They were perfect

Whoa. Those ribs look fantastic. Love the texture on the outside. Love the smoke ring. I haven't made ribs in some time. I think it's time to make them again.

Great looking ribs! I don't foil either. The only time I may be forced to foil is when starving guests arrive too early.

Nice going. Everyone has their own technique, looks like you have a great one.

WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!! I've never seen those words together in a sentence before. "way too many Miller Lites" ??? Great looking REEEBs.

I'm with J: too many Manhattans is an excuse, but Miller Lite? Nice lookin' pics, and the ribs look good, too.

Nice ! Good looking smoke ring ! I do foil them on 3-2-1 or 3-1-1 when less thick. Anyway like already said everyone has their own methode ;)

1 thing is for sure, ribs are great on the smoker !

Judging from all the beer bottles on the little table in the pic I think the Manhattan came later..LOL The ribs look great and wouldn't mind a plate of them.

Yes, Manhattans came much later in the day. It was an enjoyable afternoon on the patio though. Great weather and the pecan smoke smelled wonderful!

Very nice looking plate, Larry....for someone on a diet, that is! What ribs are there look outstanding, though! Great bark, color, moisture....they look simply fantastic. Did you cook with water in the pan?

No water, haven't smoked with water in over 5 years. Nor do I spritz or mop, just throw them on and don't open her until around the 6.5 hour mark.
