Easter Pulled Peter Cotton Tail Sandwiches Dinner

Well for Easter my wife wanted me to do a smoke and I decided to do the Boston Shoulder and Picnic Roast I had in the deep freeze all wrapped up...

Trimmed some fat off these puppies and rubbed em up with the Salt Lick Dry Rub.





Charlie took a nap.

Lit up the coals..

Bullet getting up to temp. as I laid out the wood white oak with special guest wood of maple, and away she smokes.


This is my first time doing pulled pork, as well as first time using my new maverick et-732 and first smoke since I built my wind break.

Has an over powering pepper smell to it upon opening, but is awesome when applied and smoked.

Pulled in 12 or so hour at 205-207. Have it wrapped and stored in small cooler for couple hours. Till shredding time.
