I heard a banging noise last week while running the EX6. Sent an audio clip to CS and they asked me to remove the auger and take pictures for them. Do I need to remove all the internals it can I do it from the rear only ??? Thanks

You can remove the auger from the rear. Two screws. I think Weber has a video covering that on their site.

Looks ok to me. I sent them the pics. Well see what they say

From the FB group where I'm a member: Two things in that area that have been reported as causing a noise/problem. Heavy build up of pellet dust at the motor end and reaming out of the bolt hole through the auger. I can't see if your bolt has worn the hole and I only see a little pellet dust buildup. I hope you diagnose it soon. A dead grill is no fun.
