E300 Color Fading?

I haven't noticed that on my 2016 E330 or my Mom's 2009 E320. My Mom's is out of direct sunlight and doesn't get much weather exposure. My E330 has been out in the weather more but doesn't get direct sun on the doors for very long.
I believe the doors are painted and not enamel like the lid.
In this thread, @Dave in KC painted the doors on his E330 to match a custom enamel red he had done on his lid, and he said he used Rustoleum 2x.
Perhaps you can find a close match in color and repaint them.

Genesis ... Old Meets New
Since Weber refused to make a bright red Genesis for the last 20 years, I made my own. Huge thanks to Jeff at Independence Porcelain Enamel for the gorgeous tomato red lid work. This will be my new daily cooker next year. I finally made one that intend to keep. :D

Yeah, those doors are just painted. You can try waxing them or buffing them like the paint on a car.

Yep, just paint. Otherwise they would chip like crazy if it was porcelain.
