We completed our Memorial Day weekend grocery shopping by mid-week to avoid the crowds and to make sure we could get everything on our list, but now find ourselves needing thin-sliced bacon to go on top of some baked beans. My wife said, "We're not going to the store for that, it will be too crowded." And I said, "Isn't there a drive-thru bacon store? I could just drive through and get a package of bacon." We got a good laugh out of that, and she said, "Yeah, you could get cooked bacon, uncooked bacon..." and I said, "And candied bacon, chocolate-dipped bacon...".
Then there was a pause. Then I said, "No, seriously. Why isn't there a drive-thru bacon store?"
