My brother is visiting today from CA so thought some BBQ sandwiches were the play. Hot here, mid 90’s. Got these going early. IMG_1407.jpegIMG_1408.jpegPrepped The Huntsman and got things rolling around 7:45 with some post oak and cherry. IMG_1409.jpegAfter five hours I wrapped and moved them over to my Gold B. Very short stall at about 165. Wrapped at 175-180. Will pull them at 192-194 if it all goes well. IMG_1414.jpegIMG_1415.jpegGoing to do some slaw and green beans! More to come! Cheers!
 
The price of chuck.... ( I will say no more ):wsm:
I will say more...because it is very frustrating to pay this much for chuck. However, I fed four males, two of them teenagers with this cook and have plenty left over for tacos. The price of chuck just hasn't come down at all in these parts over the last few years. It makes no sense, and I shop at a very reasonably priced grocery store. Many times, they don't have the size or thickness I desire so I pass. These were the perfect size so I jumped on them.
