Double Cheese on a Friday night

Sorry for the lack of pictures...just have one, but thought I'd share anyway.

I always keep a couple of handmade patties in the freezer for nights like tonight. Weather was good, had a craving, had a new brew to try out...perfect burger night. So took out two 80/20s, seasoned liberally with Lawry's SS, fired up a mini chimney of Harris Teeter Natural lump and we were in business. Cooked on the Jumbo Joe and topped with cheddar, pickles, ketchup and mustard - Here's your result:

The bun was not man enough to handle this puppy...otherwise, it was great. Washed down with a New Belgium Brewery Spring Blonde...Fantastic.

Have a great weekend everyone. Cook something outside!

One picture is good enough for that plate! I haven't yet tried the NB Spring Blonde, but I'm glad you enjoyed it so I have an excuse for my wife as to why I need to buy it...

Thanks for sharing!

Good thing you only had one picture! If there was more I would have eaten my laptop screen... I gotta get some patties made up and freeze them. Always want to, always forget.

Thanks for sharing and great choice in beer...

Great looking burger. How is the Spring Blond? Went to get some at the local grocery but they had sold out. Still mourning the fact that I can't get Accumulation anymore.

Robert, I really liked it. Last night I also tried Sam's Cold Snap and Dogfish Piercing Pils. I liked the Blonde best of all three, though I wouldn't turn any down!
