Door Levers

Pardon me if this issue is addressed in another forum, but does anyone know if the lever latches for the newer models WSM's will fit on the older 18.5 inch models. I have significant damage to mine and need to replace it.

According to the parts schematic the newer handle is only available installed with a new door.
I read a few posts on the SS door mod where one has to enlarge the hole slightly to change the difference in centers from the older style to the newer one..

I bought the new Weber door to put on my old 18WSM ...it comes with the new latch handle complete...it fits perfectly..and looks great!

...I also bought the new legs, pan, and dome therm..."looks n cooks" like a new one
