Do You Cover the WSM? Should you?

Another vote for garage kept w/o a cover.
I have 2 male labs, which would make it an easy target if left outside.

Mine goes in the garage. The only thing I make sure to do is scrub the cooking grates when I'm done with a wire brush. Also I will clean out the foiled water pan by throwing the top layer away.

I cover to protect the investment. I have a big (Brinkman?) cover that easily fits my 22.5. BUT, rememeber to keep all the vents open and the WSM fairly clean.

I keep mine in the garage but it's covered even when inside.

I did find that cutting the elastic straps off helped a bunch, once less thing to get caught while putting it on.

I live in the high desert. I have a covered patio. Still use the cover, though.
