Big Boys need big handles right they look about right for that setup really. Nice.

For the lid i would use a weber handle, for the barrel i followed Chris's suggestion and used these handles as they lay flat when not in use and the cover slides right over them and the mount horizontally,

Do these follow the curvature of the mid section? I had the garage door handles but they made putting the cover on difficult.

No but can be formed to the curve by hand and then stream lined for a flush fit using the hardware to complete the fitting.
And can be painted to add color to your WSM or black to blend in.

Hi Kevin, thanks, I'm going to give it a try. At my age I'd hate to lift the mid section and have it slip out of my hands. Have a good 4th.

I just put one of those on my old 18 inch WSM and did my first cook with it on the 4Th of July. Have you tried it?
