I'm excited for them. Both styles. When paired with freshly painted black wheels together they make a big difference on the appearance of a nice restoration.
Painting the wheels was a revelation to me. I had been buying new ones on my restoration grills, but that had gotten quite expensive. Then Weber discontinued the wheels so that was no longer an option. I give credit to @Cody Bratton and @Jon Tofte for the idea to paint them and as picky as I am, I have been very pleased with how they turn out. The new whitewalls really put them over the top. I've already sold a couple of grills with these newly restored wheels and recommend the process to anyone who is serious about a top notch restoration.

I have several sets with zero rust that I can use and should. Most that I have come across are rust free. I like Dave's but I see no reason to not reuse the ones I have. So we'll see but I will definitely use Dave's flavorizer bars. I think I have one extra set.
Again, you are very lucky to live in a climate where rust hasn't taken its toll on these parts. I'm lucky to even be able to get the slats off of the rusty Zbars that I come across most of the time.

I have been painting my wheels for quite a while also on classic Genesis and newer grills and I definitely recommend it also for anyone that attention to details is important.

It's really a mystery why the rust would be less in Washington. It definitely makes sense in Arizona.
It doesn't make sense to me either other than there is probably a lot narrower spread in temperature there compared to where I live. You could compare the highs and lows here to both the hottest and coldest places on earth and not be that far off on either end of it.

If you are restoring grills to sell, then details matter if you want to maximize profit. I'm not going to restore a grill to make a hundred bucks, it's just not worth my time or effort and I'm not that bored. Trying to fix up your own grill to keep it going is a different story obviously and held to a different standard.

I would agree even for a couple hundred I'm not going to waste my time. The attention to details brings the profit every time but it's just part of the process. You have to make smart decisions throughout. Negotiating skills for buying and selling and Marketing strategies are equally important. Reading the market in your area also.

Absolutely, not to mention when it rains and then temperatures go up to 90° like it's about to here now.
I haven't had to cut my grass in several weeks now, it hasn't rained and the temperature has been consistently in the 90° range. We have gotten a fair amount of rain the last two days so in a couple of days my lawn will turn green again and start growing like crazy.

I have had one monsoon rainstorm here in AZ in the last couple weeks otherwise dry and warm. 116°F yesterday.

You definitely have to start out by getting a grill for cheap or free, and that's not always easy to do. It has to be something that stands out when you're done with it and you can't spend a ton of money on the process. Meaning you need to do pretty much everything yourself to maximize that profit.
