Your link is fine. Could be an '03. The lid and control panel are both pretty faded on it, not a good restoration candidate even at that price.Log into Facebook

Maybe with more use a pellet grill would move up in my ranks
Dan I agree 100% that is exactly what we am doing and looking to continue to do. I don't know if I will have everything figured out by the time I retire and consolidate to AZ. I understand different types of grills are great in there own way and will be better suited for different people. Also personal taste and flavor is not the same for everyone. Of course there is hot and fast type grilling and low and slow. Some people may only do one or the other. I can appreciate people that use different types of grills for different things. So far I have nailed down that I will always have a Genesis Jr. and Genesis 1000. I have been using charcoal Weber grill lately and so far it's not been any better to my family or myself than my propane or natural gas Weber's. More testing to be done though. I have even less experience with Pellet grills but use them with my brother-in-law and I've eaten grilled food off of them several times with my brother-in-law. Also so far something I could live without but more testing to be done. If I know myself as well as I think I do my end game setup will be quite unique in its own right and have some variety for sure. I'm a little different and most times when I find what I like it isn't the mainstream. I will continue to enjoy testing different grilling methods. On my journey, my pit boss pellet was a stepping stone. I had a kettle for 25+ years, a genny silver B for 18+ years and a BGE for about 8 years.
In 2018 I bought a pit boss pro 820 and as I learned how to use it better, I also learned more about my BGE, my kettle and my gasser.
I like the flexibility having multiple grills and smokers. I tried a few more and eventually chose what I like best for me and sold off the others.
What's my point? Try something different. You may love it, but if not; try again.
Here's my journey. It's been two and a half years since I've added or removed any grills so I think I've got what I want and need.
Spoiler: this Pic is not want I.have today.
