Craycort Grates ?

Is it possible to use Craycort grates with the vortex? Just checking before going the craycort route.

Ooh, I didn't think of that, sorry. Can't say for sure but, contact Owens barbecue, I bet they can answer that.

I couldn't see why not. I'm assuming the grates rest on the same thing the original grates do. They shouldn't be any lower in the kettle.

You can use it with the Vortex but you are gonna burn off all of the seasoning on your CI grates where the Vortex sets below them because it gets really hot! The only time I use the Weber grate is when I use my Vortex
