Cowboy Lump

I stay away from anything Cowboy if I can help it. Too many rocks and non-wood construction debris for my taste.

Nickname used to be Crapboy. When it first came out it was like balsa wood, barely could toast a marshmallow on it.
Then they switched and got huge pieces the size of footballs , alot of uncarbonized (brown) pieces which give off that nasty smell.
I see they came out with a all natural briquette, haven't tried it yet.

I had good results with Cowboy Oak & Hickory (which is made in the US) but, like the others, I don't like the regular Cowboy.

I like FOGO and B&B lump the best.

Like others have said foul smell, debris, a few brown pieces. It sparks and pops when in the chimney.

I purchased six bags last fall on clearance for $4 each. It works well for pizza cooks.

I like to use RO and B&B lump. Never tried FOGO.
