Just a few treats I was looking to post a few....
Probably a few posts, there is a pic limit per post.
Made some nice flanken ribs and later on I made a delicious picahna roast.

Next up I got into a bit of good stuff.
Got into a nice 48 hour turkey soup...made with turkey wings and a bone in breast, it’s good stuff.
I was out and picked up a nice NY strip roast for about $80 and cut it into 3 huge steaks.
Saved 2 for later on, we made burrito bowls that night, should have made Cases’s edible bowls, they are tasty.

Next up something less bbq related but one of the best things that comes out of the kitchen.
Sweet potato hash.
I ended up making some pretty good smoked/braised short ribs with a red wine reduction, served over mash with a salad. This was on New Year’s Eve.

The photos are loading up in a weird order but they are there....
Next up went withal couple pans of Shepard’s pie, save lots of these for work freezer lunches. The red wine reduction was good on top of this too....
Some creamy parmesan mushroom spinach gnocchi with fried chicken breast slices. The MRS likes this one.

Saturday I smoked a center cut hunk of pork and got all the right stuff to make cubano’s.
These were darn tasty.

Thanks Chuck....I actually was kind of sick of cooking.
Not all bbq and lots of bulk cooks for the freezer but it seemed like I was always doing something food related.

Most of this stuff was fairly standard cooks, first time cubano's..........
I was just hoping someone had some love for that out of all of the pics.
This sandwich ( sans salami ) was one of the best sammies I have had, so many different flavors. Every bite was close to heaven in the mouth.
This trumps most of what I have made and the cook and assembly is sooooooo easy and fast. Eye of round beef dips.....chuck pulled pepper stout.....all of them have a hard time comparing to this tasty treat.
About 1 to 1.5 hour on the pork loin, the rest is simple.

Everything looks amazing, my the Cuban steals the show fo me. One of my favorites to order out, but never made at home and I really want to change that. Oh I that sheppard pie also wow, I want some.
 
Darryl your first cook is one of my favorites flanken cut ribs (Kalbi) marinade grilled on BBQ or pan is just so tender and full of flavor. Uours looked so good.

I could not agree more, Flanken ribs are my favorite cut or beef, Everytime I have them I think I don't know what it is but these are it do me.
