cook time for a six butt cook?

Each additional butt does not add specific time like each pound of one butt. My experience is that all the butts get done in the time they would individually, but rarely early because of the overall mass to cook. In other words, for me the two 8 lb butt gets done in about 16 hours, the two 6 lb'ers get done in about 12, and the 7 lb'ers in 14, all consecutive times. Of course, no butt is done until it's done, so checking is critical. And for that reason I put the bigger butts of any size on the bottom rack and the smaller ones on the top to make the checking and removing easier when the smaller ones get done.
