Company Anniversary Selection

For my 10th anniversary at my company, I was given a catalog of items to choose from... Luckily for me, one of those items was the 22.5" WSM! Selecting it was a no-brainer for me. I am looking forward to receiving it. I have already ordered some wood chips and a popular smoking book. I have been perusing this site for tips and tricks. Can't wait to get started on my WSM adventure!
 
Sounds to me you work for a great company. Look forward to the cooks you do on the 22.5 wsm.
 
Just got my WSM delivered. Was not expecting it to come in on a pallet! I am excited to get this thing put together. It would be nice if the weather were just a bit nicer this weekend. Any problems smoking in sub-freezing temps?
 
Wow, a 22 from your company is a great gift. Congratulations. As for sub-freezing - no problem. The main thing you need to do is block the wind. There are those that have done colder smokes, but I've smoked around zero but it was a very still evening. With the wind, you'll be fighting temps the whole time even if it's warm out - which hopefully it will be soon.
