Cold weather smoke going today

So, my first cold weather smoke of the year is coming. It's -3 c, 26 f, and I'm going to do some ribs and ABTs for some friends.

I tend to add a bit more charcoal than usual, but fortunately it's not windy, so it should bo smooth. Reports and pics to follow.

Snowed yesterday and windy/cold here today. Don't care and the 4 huge racks of spares went on at ~10:30. Beans will go on later.

You guys are inspiring me. I've been craving rib roast, but I don't know that it'll happen today. Must be something I can smoke or grill...

Just took them off, and they look great, a nice easy smoke.

Hey Mike,
Which smoker did you use? (18 or 22) What kind of charcoal, and did you have to use more than usual? I'm gonna do some ribs for a Xmass party. It'll also be my first cold weather (for Brooklyn) smoke.

Not so cold here in Silicon Valley. Put a Butt on @ 11 AM (PST) w/ outside temps around 50F.
