Cleaning Warming Racks and Swinging Baskets on Early Genesis.

The brochure I have above said it was an "accessory upgrade", maybe that's for a second basket as shown in the photo and the first one was standard. Looks like you can still get them from Weber but at $47.99.

The early 90's brochure I found says it is standard on all Genesis models. That has always been my assumption as well.
That's cool. I just seem to remember the literature which came with my old grill and my dad's (both were 2XXX grills mine a 2 his a 2000) mentioned "upgrades to this model" and noted the swinging basket. But understand, I am going off memory from 1992 and 1993. And perhaps by late 90's it became a standard feature

Just to beat this horse a little more...I have the feature card for the Genesis 2 that you kindly gave me Larry. It clearly mentions the warming rack (even giving the sq. inches it adds) but makes no mention of the swing basket as standard or as an option. Of course, this is just an 8X11 laminated card that hung on the grill in the store, not a full description of all features and options.

I have a bunch of downloaded owners manuals from various sources, and both that for the Junior and for a Genesis 1 don't show the swinging table as part of the assembly, and that for the 1000 does.
Note for @Chris Allingham : I would be happy to supply any or all of these for our Manuals section....
