Cleaned up Genesis Gold C

I cleaned up the grill and seasoned the CI grates and just wanted to post the pic's to show how nice the side panel stays, really shows the quality Weber puts into it's grills and parts. This has to be over 10 years old, I had less than one

GGross soak the knobs and the ignition button in a solution of 50% hot water and 50% bleach for a couple of hours, rinse and brush with a soft brush (I use an old tooth brush) they will look like new!

I did soak my knobs in hot water and simple green...that's the same method we clean ortho devices in between machinings / manufacturing phases.

Mine is a Silver C after confirming with Weber.

Hmmm, GGross's grill has me a bit confused as I could have sworn that Genesis Silver's had colored enameled hoods/shrouds, while Genesis Gold's were stainless steel. But, the badge on his grill says Genesis Gold. ???

The 2000-2001 Genesis Gold has three lid color choices, black, green, and burgundy. The Genesis Platinum had the SS lid as well as an enclosed card wth SS doors.
