Clam pasta

The wife and I put together some steamer clams and linguine in a white wine sauce.
The usual suspects like onions, garlic, pepper flakes are present as well as the new addition of anchovies into the sauce.
This is comfort food for us.

I've never had Clams (or Oysters) but being a fan of Port Protection I've made up my mind to change that. Yours are inspirational, I think I now know how I'll do Clams when it happens. Nicely done Andy
 
It’s has been snowing off and on this last couple of days so I had to harvest these from Costco 🙂.
This was the first time I bought Costco little neck steamers and they were great.
No need to purge them and only 5 out of the sack didn’t open.

This is one of those meals that’s almost impossible to mess up.
Sauté some onions/garlic, add wine, clams, pasta and viola!

I didn’t notice but I would wager that they are local since clams are farmed almost everywhere here 😉.

It’s clam ‘n’ oyster season right now and that’s a big social/family thing here.
