Christmas Gifts

Here's a post from Sunday's cook. Wanted to make some smoked turkey for some friends as gifts but had to dig out of this first

Finally got driveway, sidewalks and grilling area cleared.

Seasoned with Johnnies and some Stubbs Poultry seasoning that showed up on the shelf at Wal Mart.

Birds on the WSM

Cooking away despite the 2 above temp outside.

Finished after about 5 hours. They look darker than normal but I pulled them at 165. Friends say they turned out great. Kind of tough to turn out something without being able to peek and see if you did ok
