On food network right now they have a Weber sponsored grill masters finale!
They are able to use all the grills I own, Genesis, kettle and WSM.. They are doing a standing rib roast!
Makes me want to go fire up the grill!
Yumm!

I watch it sometimes, and it's Monday with nothing else on, so I see they are cooking, some good looking meat, thought I would share. Prolly find it on YouTube if you missed it, some interesting alternatives for standing rib roast!

I saw the show and don't understand what good the WSM was with only half an hour to an hour allowed to prepare a meal????????

In one episode, someone placed some food in the WSM for just a few minutes to apply some smoke flavor. As you say, the challenges are so short that there's not enough time to cook anything completely in the WSM.
