At $15.00 a pound they better be good and this is just a trial run for some USDA prime rib eyes Friday or Saturday. The prime steaks look damn good and if I screw them up you will hear the shot wherever you are.

The possible shot is going to be Friday when I grill the prime rib eyes but I'm more confident now. One day I will even be able to grill the sides as well like you. Right now it's all I can do to get the main course right.

You're right Bob. I didn't get any grill shots because my two hands were busy. This is on a 26.5 kettle and I use a 22" grate from an old smoky propped up on pieces of brick and the underside of the grate is touching the coals. Needless to say things happen fast.

Whew Lord, I paid $12.99 a pound for prime ribeyes at Costco last time I went. But those being that Texas brand of steak probably drives the price up a good bit.

Great looking cook, meat looks juicy and cooked just right.
