Chinese Performer clones at Academy Sports

Has anyone else seen the Outdoor Gourmet brand (Academy's house brand) Performer knock-offs at Academy Sports? I saw one a week ago, but when I went back last night it was gone and it isn't on their website.
It's really a shameless Chinese copy of the Performer, not identical but too close to be an accident.

I added pictures. I went to another Academy today on the way back from a Craigslist Weber letdown and took these with my phone. I had never taken a picture with my phone before, so the first one is blurry. Sorry.
Yes, the quality of these grills is pretty darn craptacular. IIRC, the price was $149.
 
Is the table metal? Wondering if I could use one of these to mount one of my current OTG in? Guess I need to go take a look.
 
The table is an extremely thin piece of stainless steel. The whole thing is flimsy and prone to rust. You would be better off with a used Performer.

Nah.
I would use wood to replace the Thermoset top on a late model Performer.
Several have been done this way and look outstanding.
One guy used butcher block counter top material and created the best-looking late model Performer currently in the wild.
Open Google Images and search the pic there.
