Chicken Tacos

Had the day off so had lazy time to research and find something good to cook. This recipe is based on a Rick Bayless recipe I found on line. Started by roasting two poblanos, two red jalapeño and roasting some garlic in the foil.

Then grilled some chicken breasts. In the original recipe they were fried but we all know the beauty of grilled food.:)

Back to the chicken, onions and garlic fried, adding mustard greens and fresh thyme and chicken broth. Recipe called for kale but my store didn't have any.

Didn't think there was any chance in hell of finding Crema in these parts but I was pleasantly surprised

Then at this point you add the Crema, the roasted red and green peppers and the roasted garlic.

Then add in the grilled chicken and let it get happy together.

These tacos were outstanding. We will have them again. Thanks for looking!

Looks delicious.

I haven't seen tacos done like this with the crema. Something I may have to try should I ever stumble upon some.

Robert...I will take two plates of those, and very nice choice on the beverage, one of my favorite Mexican beers. I need to try both of these cooks soon! Thanks for sharing your dinner.
