Chicken legs on the WSM

Today was just a corker , weather-wise so I dragged the WSM out of the garage and fired it up for some chicken leg quarters.


Cut up the legs and dusted some with kickin chicken... Some with lemon pepper and a couple with just S&P.
Got the fire roaring and threw the pieces on the top grill. No water pan.
The smoker ran at 350 easily for the hour it took to cook the chicken.


It was so nice to be outside smelling the smoke and anticipating a great meal. And it was great.

As I was standing out side loving the warm evening , I couldn't help but think how soon the smoking area will be covered in S**W. ⛄
 
Great looking Chix my friend, we've had the most incredible Fall weather here, last two days been in the 70's. Unheard of for Nov around here
