Or my take on it at any rate.
This dinner was simple and so satisfying.
My wife harvested the veggies of the day. Yellow squash, pattypan, tromboncino squash (not invented by Dr. Seuss) and some newly cured/smoked miso bacon with a little cinnamon (awesome!) for appetizer.
Nathan's natural casing all beef dogs, spiral cut.
Dogs topped with homemade chow chow relish, pickled jalapenos, pickle wedge, yellow mustard, celery salt. Addition of potato salad and good to go!
I recommend the chow chow. Here's how I make mine.
Hope everyone had a good one. The weather is fine here lately. The rain held off for the grilling, but some is due tonight and we can use it. Cheers! - G
