Chefs Table-BBQ

Hi Keith,
I've watched the first few episodes and I loved them. I especially loved the Tootsie Tomerantz episode, as well as Rodney Scott's.

I loved Tootsie's and Rodney's episodes. A really fun show. I love how Tootsie knows the pits so well that she will use the palpable sense of her hands to judge the heat. That is so awesome, in a world where so many people are using all sorts of gizmos and gadgets to barbecue. I'm not knocking anybody for using tech in their 'Q, because quite frankly it is awesome, and I'd be a hypocrite to sling shade towards anybody. I just really admire the old school barbecuing ways, because it is something that is only learned from a heap of experience & experimenting and it can't truly be taught but learned over time.

Just got watching this in the past week. I just have one more to watch on Rosalia Chay Chuc. This series is so well produced in everything from the photography, music, and the way they tell the story about each chef. Each episode is a feast for the eyes and the ears. It's got real soul and watching it has really made me appreciate even more just how special it is to be practicing this ancient tradition of cooking over coals. Each of the cooks interviewed in this series are really special people. So inspiring!

The Rosalia episode surprised me the most. Might have been my favorite. But yeah, this series is very well done.
