Catch of the day, Sculpin

I went fishing back in June using Davey's Locker out of Newport Landing, CA. Back then, with photobucket issues, I could not post. Now that I have flickr working, here ya go. I booked the afternoon boat and got the excellent crew on the Western Pride. Boat was packed, lots of tangled lines, but I did really good. I was able to catch my limits of Sculpin. The crew was excellent in untangling the lines, rigging the lures, etc. Next time I go, I will pay extra and book a limited load boat. It was still fun and I was very happy to catch a good number of fish.
Here are some pics and videos.

Those
are great tasting fish.. love going out on the charter boats out here in Central California... Those deck hands are amazing at getting the world's worst birds nest unraveled in a matter of minutes.

Nice bunch of fish you caught there. When I lived in Huntington Beach years ago I would go out on the charter boats a couple times a year out of Newport. We fondly referred to them as the cattle barge because of the stem to stern bodies on board.
