I have been craving carne asada lately and decided to cook some for dinner. First I headed down to a taco cart in my neighborhood for some "research".

Back home I started by marinating some skirt steak in orange juice and Chef Meritos.

I then chopped up the garnish for the tacos and opened a can of salsa.

Fired up the OTG with some cowboy lump and grabed a beer.

Cooked the steak for a couple minutes a side.

Served up the tacos with some beans and rice. Thanks for looking.

You dang sure grabbed a beer. I'll say. I bet you washed it down with those killer tacos you made too.

Nice cook man.

Don't lift the lid...

Tony turned me on to the Chef Merito's Seasoning. IMHO you can't beat it. I agree -- your research paid off. Those tacos look awesome.

Those look good. About how long does the Carne Asada cook on the grill? I am going to try this dish out this weekend now that I have some Chef Merito's Seasoning. Thanks.
