Can you dye thermoset side tables?

It may be possible. It would be nice to test a broken piece first.

It is also not impossible to paint thermoset. You just have to accept that eventually you will have to repaint.

I’ve thought about trying bedliner on them. I would think if sanded with 80grit that would give it deep enough scratches that it would stick well.

I have searched all over and can't find an answer. I want to create a completely blacked out keeper build.
It depends on the type of plastic. Is there a resin code imprinted on it?

For certain, HDPE (Durawood) and LDPE are difficult to dye at home. It would probably be best to take a piece of a damaged table and try it. Note: do not use acetone near an open flame!
