Baby Q in action this weekend for a couple nights of camping. Did a tri-tip last night with some wine soaked oak chips for some smoke. IMG_6709.jpegIMG_6710.jpegDid a two day marinade and some montreal and the potatoes were done in the cast iron!IMG_6714.jpegIMG_6716.jpegGot some good smoke flavor. Pulled around 130. IMG_6719.jpegIMG_6721.jpegIMG_6722.jpegFire restrictions in place so had to do the s’mores over the BBQ. IMG_6725.jpegGreat trip! Baby Q needs a major cleaning! Cheers!IMG_6692.jpegIMG_6723.jpeg

Camping used to be roughing it someplace, thanks for changing that perception!

Looks really good, I never use a marinade with TT as I always buy prime grade, I may scale back my beef standards & try a marinade!

I seldom buy packaged seasonings or marinades.
However I do like Yoshida’s teriyaki marinade sauce on my smoked tri tip.
Sadly it seems to be no longer available :(.
