Camp food

Went camping and we made some great food. Mountain man breakfast in the dutch oven, t-bone steaks on the 14.5 WSM. took left over mountain man breakfast added more cheese and cauliflower to it and placed in foil packets cooked in the coals. Managed to not get any cook photos! Odd for me, must have been the beverages, thin mountain air, have no clue!

All kinds of wildflowers out. Wild blueberries (we harvested for pancakes one morning), strawberries and huckleberries all over.

Great photos Case! Really beautiful country, thanks for sharing. I'll take the pictures you posted... I've seen pictures of steaks and such before.

Thanks Rich. It sure is pretty up there. Pretty spoiled living here. Getting harder though to escape people.

Case, you brought memories back for me with those photos. Used to go backpacking in that part of the country years ago. Thanks!

You’re welcome. I used to backpack a lot too. Did all of the PCT in Washington and Oregon and parts in Northern California.
Now a days I prefer the comforts of a bed!
