Call me Mr. Q

Yes that's right, from now on call me Mr Q :giggle:
Joking aside, I finally got time today to put this Q3200 together. Took about 30 minutes.
Preheated it to 600 degrees to get rid of whatever nasties that came with it from the factory.
Seasoned the grates with some Avocado oil on both side. Put the cover on it and whispered
In its ears: "boy, you got some work coming your way tomorrow, get some rest & be ready" :D;):)
I got my hands on some nice Ribeye steaks for Christmas day.(y)
I'm glad I went the Q3200 route, the cooking space (63cm x 45cm) is huge for a small BBQ grill.
I think it is more than enough for me, the wife and 3 dogs.
Two things I noticed,
1) It maxed out temp wise in 8 minutes  that's really fast.
2) why the hell they included a silver shiny light for night time grilling? Black color would have matched better I think.
Anyway, I wanna thank you for all the help and answers to my questions I had before I pulled the trigger to buy this Q.
I'm sure I will have more questions in the near future until I get used to grilling on this thing.
Mr. Q is wishing you and your families a happy, healthy and blessed holiday season.🤶🎄🎅

Congrats, Mr. Q! I hope your Christmas Ribeye's cruise beautifully on your well-rested Boy.

Here in the USA our lights are black and plastic (well, at least mine is from 2 years ago).

Happy Holidays to you, your Wife, dogs, and Q-Boy!

I'll bet you're also enjoying gorgeous weather as well. Here I will be freezing my man parts off grilling lobster tails on dad's Genesis tonight. Wind chills expected to be -10F actual temps maybe 15F so it's not gonna be a pleasant evening for me out there. Good thing I will have a martini to keep me warm. BTW excellent grill choice. I know you're gonna enjoy!

Will try to take some photos of those ribeye steaks before they disappear if I'm not to drunk to hold a camera (y) (y) (y)🎅🎅🎅

Yes my friend, today the weather was 19-21 degrees Celsius daytime and tonight should be around 9-11 degrees Celsius. Where we are at, we don't get to see a white Christmas but to tell you the truth, I don't miss shovelings the snow like I used to do back in New Jersey where I was living during my studies. Stay warm buddy, Keep those martinis going :D

Guess I won't moan about our 22F with 14F with the wind chill. Of course that's why Barb and I will be having pizza bread made in the warm house and watching a couple of Christmas movies with a few toddies involved. Call me a candy a** if you must but I'll be a warm candy a**.
Stay warm (if you can) and wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas.

Why don’t we get the black version??
I’m with you, Bruno. We had a 3200 at work years ago (former job). I fell in love with the space and control. I’ll never forget an associate sending for me because the grill was on fire 😂. Turns out they’d never cleaned it, so there was a thick buildup of grease that I wound up taking a putty knife to when the grill cooled off, and saving the celebration we were having (safety cookout or something). I always said if I got the chance, I’d get one. Congratulations on your purchase. You’re gonna love it!

Feels like 1° ….. Damn Bruce, I think I'll stay put where I'm. Here it's 60° F as I type this and it's midnight by the way :)
I certainly would LOL. High temp yesterday was only 10F. With a VERY VERY stiff NW wind. My RAV4 hybrid had MPG drop to 28 on way home. I lost literally 6mpg between going into the suburban area and coming back to Rockford area. It was headed right into the teeth of that 25 to 35mph NW wind and actual temp showing only 11F. Batteries do not like that cold and pushing a little brick into that is tough

Well, I have to say the wind chill was probably well below zero in reality. When I took that screen shot, it was clocking only a 5mph wind, but like Larry, our winds were generally much higher than that.
Now we have a 10" snowfall on the forecast for Tuesday/Wednesday. We didn't have a white Christmas, but it sure looks like a white New Years is on tap.
