Sorry, The Cajun in me can't resist. Please insist your stores & restaurants carry local product that is inspected by FDA so that you know that you're getting what you want (and not getting what you don't want). This is true for Crawfish, Catfish, Tilapia, etc.

Beautiful sandwich and chili John! Personally, I will not buy food products from China. Lead paint in kids toys was the tipping point.

Thanks for spreading the word Pat. If folks knew the journey their food took before it landed in the grocery store most of us would think twice about what we eat. Support your local farmers market and organic farmers. "The Omnivore’s Dilemma" is a book that all foodies should read.
