Figuring his cost is $50 for material and shipping, that's only $150 - $250 for 5 hours labor. If you compare that to flipping grills, how many hours do you have doing that, on avarage?
I don’t think shipping is an issue for re-coating a drip tray. I can’t vouch for everywhere in the nation, but I’m reasonably certain there are porcelain enamel coating companies across the country. I know of a few in the great state of California.
And re-coating has got to be cheaper than $200-300.
Let's not run with this $200 - $300 number just yet...it's only my personal guess, and I'm wrong much more often than not. As I said, I hope I'm wrong and it won't hurt my feelings if I am.
I decided to change the thread title .... Huge thanks to Jeff over at https://www.facebook.com/IndependencePorcelain/ for the excellent job and making it just right for my stable.
