Butt for stew question

I had planned on cooking a butt tonight to eat a bit tomorrow and then I was going to freeze the rest of the meat tomorrow. At a later date I'm going to thaw the meat and make a big pot of Brunswick stew. Anyone see anything wrong with freezing the leftover stew? I don't typically re-freeze already cooked, frozen, and thawed meat.

I do this all the time with brisket point, and often enough with butt. No issues.

Realizing that Brunswick Stew is a regional favorite, I like to make Smoked pork green chile verde.

Hominy
Hatch or poblano chiles
tomatillos
smoked pork

you can do a search for a recipe.
